CACS 2018 Best Paper Awards

Description: To recognize the distinguished contribution of a paper presented at the 2018 International Automatic Control Conference (CACS 2018), two best papers will be awards: one in theory and one in application. The best paper in theory will be given to the notable advancement in control theory. The best paper in application will be given to the notable advancement in the applications of control theory and technologies. No award will be given if no qualified candidate can be identified.

Eligibility: All accepted papers will be considered. The authors of the finalists must present their papers at CACS 2018.

Basis for Judging: Factors to be considered are: originality, innovation, depth, quality, and significance in control theory, and quality of presentation at CACS 2018.

Prize: The first prize will be awarded with US$300 and a certificate. The other excellent works will be awarded with US$100 and a certificate.

Presentation: The award will be presented during Banquet (11/6). 

CACS 2018 Best Student Conference Paper Award

Description: To recognize a student author(s) of a paper presented at the 2018 International Automatic Control Conference (CACS 2018) contributing to the notable advancement in control theory research, three best student papers will be awarded. No award will be given if no qualified candidate can be identified.

Eligibility: The paper must have a student as the lead author and be presented by the student at CACS 2018.

Basis for Judging: Factors to be considered are: originality, innovation, depth, quality, and significance in control theory, and quality of presentation at CACS 2018.

Prize: The first prize will be awarded with US$300 and a certificate. The other excellent works will be awarded with US$100 and a certificate.

Presentation: The award will be presented during Banquet (11/6).
